Janice Pastorek has lectured at New York Mt. Sinai Hospital's Aging Face Course as a faculty participant. She has collaborated with Estee Lauder on product development and physician instruction. Janice Pastorek has worked as a consultant with the Unilever (Dove) on new skin care product development. She has been featured on Lifetime Television about her work in skin rejuvenation. She was the first lecturer for Guerlain in their science series and worked with Dusa Pharmaceuticals in development of protocols for new photodynamic drugs in the treatment of sun damaged skin. Her interest, innovation and success with Intense Pulsed Light have been recognized by the Prolite manufacturer. She is one of their most valued instructors for new physician users of the instrument. She is a published author on skin care; her chapter on Simple Solutions to Common Skin Problems in Management of Facial Lines and Wrinkles is published by Lippincott, Williams, and Wilkins.
All avenues of skin care and non-surgical skin rejuvenation including Botox, skin fillers, intense fluorescent pulsed light, Aramis infrared laser, electostimulation, ultrasonic treatment, LED specific light wave therapy, and individually selected topical skin products are available to enhance Facial Plastic Surgery or in some cases to be utilized as an alternative to surgery. Common skin problems such as broken capillaries, freckles, brown spots, skin tags, moles, sun damage lesions are all within the scope of treatment.
