Dr.Pastorek's office is located in Carnegie Hill on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on 88th street between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue. At the end of the block are the Guggenheim Museum and the Engineers' Gate entrance to Central Park. In his office patients will find the quiet calm atmosphere and elegant setting that reflects Dr. Pastorek's practice philosophy. He designed the interior to recreate the 1920's feeling of the building's origin. The Art Deco architectural elements, timepieces, and light fixtures are remembrances of a historically fashionable New York period. Much of Dr. Pastorek's photographic art grace the office walls. These outsized peony detail photographs, which have been compared to O'Keefe paintings, have been published by Garden Design magazine and appear both in the pages and cover of the publication. When conceptualizing the office, Dr. Pastorek tilted the balance away from a clinically stark office appearance toward the look of a home and an oasis in contrast to the frenetic city.
